Insights and Connections: Reflections on the Property Connect Networking Event in Liverpool

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Property Connect Networking Event in Liverpool on 23rd January 2025. This vibrant gathering of property professionals was held at the lively McCooleys Concert Square, creating the perfect atmosphere for sharing insights and forging new connections. The event was a hub of engaging discussions and invaluable networking opportunities, bringing together like-minded individuals passionate about the future of the property sector.

Engaging Discussions

The event kicked off with a thought-provoking conversation with the Host James Michie from Circle UK Group. James shared his perspective on current property market trends and future opportunities, offering a wealth of knowledge and identifying who to speak to in the room regarding innovative investment strategies and sustainable building practices. During our discussion, I mentioned my need for a solicitor for a complex property transaction, and James kindly introduced me to a Senior Associate from Knights, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the event.

Another standout conversation was with Chris Kennedy from Kennedy Consulting Services. Chris provided fascinating insights into the operations of his temporary recruitment company, drawing from his impressive 21 years of experience across various sectors, including construction, demolition, engineering, and property. His strategic approach to recruitment and ability to adapt to the evolving demands of each sector were particularly enlightening, offering valuable lessons on flexibility and innovation in business operations.

Networking Opportunities

The event offered a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow property professionals in an informal setting. This relaxed environment encouraged open dialogue, allowing attendees to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations. It was inspiring to meet so many individuals dedicated to driving innovation in the property sector.

The networking sessions were not just about exchanging business cards; they were about building meaningful relationships that could lead to future partnerships and collaborations. Engaging with professionals from diverse backgrounds provided fresh perspectives and new ideas, reinforcing the value of community in the property industry.

Conclusion

The Property Connect Networking Event in Liverpool was a powerful reminder of the value of staying connected and informed in the ever-evolving property market. The informal setting fostered meaningful connections and insightful discussions that will shape my future endeavours in property investment and management. I highly encourage fellow property professionals to participate in future Property Connect events to expand their networks, gain industry insights, and drive innovation in our field.
